Let’s Talk About Ette

Alright, lets talk about Ette!

We had the absolute pleasure of visiting this hidden gem tucked away in the heart of Kissimmee, Florida—just 25 minutes from home. We actually stumbled upon Ette Hotel thanks to our good friend, Google. It looked so quaint and luxe online that we knew we had to experience it for ourselves. So that’s exactly what we did. 🙂

First Impressions

Driving onto the property, I immediately noticed the hotel signage—and it was so my vibe. Picture crisp white letters nestled in lush greenery and climbing vines. Very chic. Very “naturale”

Walking inside, the space felt airy and bright, with soft, neutral tones that instantly lifted my mood. My energy shifted the moment we stepped in—I felt lighter, happier, and completely at ease.

We headed over to the bar where we were greeted by Natalia, our lovely server. From the jump, she was so warm and accommodating—even with Ty walking in like a full-on production crew, camera and all. She totally leaned into our newbie content creator energy and made us feel right at home.

Drinks

Ty ordered a smoked Old Fashioned, and it was…oh so posh. The whole preparation was a vibe, and Natalia even let us film behind the bar while she made it. (Shoutout again to how cool and content-friendly she was!)

I went with my trusty glass of prosecco. This was actually a lunch date for our other brand, Noire, where we highlight Black excellence in luxury spaces. So getting that kind of creative freedom was such a win.

Food

Now let’s get into this good-ass food.

I had the seared salmon with seasonal vegetables and a dreamy, creamy potato purée. The salmon? Perfectly cooked. Well-seasoned, glistening, juicy. The veggies were crisp and fresh—chef’s kiss.

Ty ordered the steak and frites, and as a certified steak lover, I was equally impressed. His steak was so tender it sliced like butter—with a butter knife. The outside had a beautiful char with visible salt grains, and the flavor was on point.

And the fries? Thick-cut, crispy, and perfectly salted. Honestly, we sat there in blissful silence when we were done—completely satisfied.

Final Thoughts

We’re officially fans. Ette Hotel checked every box—stunning aesthetic, incredible food, and warm, attentive service.

We’re already planning our return, but next time we’re booking a room too. They even have a rooftop (and you know we love a rooftop), though it’s reserved for private events.

Ette was so good to us—and we’ll definitely be back to return the favor.

Peaceeeeeeee ✌🏾,

Kaala
