Why We Chose Virgin Voyages
Alright, let’s talk about it —
Why did we choose Virgin Voyages for our very first couples cruise?!
Well… to be totally honest, we didn’t choose Virgin — Virgin chose us! 😏
Just in case I haven’t mentioned it yet, we are HUGE Disney lovers. We adore our EPCOT evenings and hit the parks as often as possible because let’s be real… it really is a magical place.

So naturally, we planned to take a Disney cruise — the Disney Wish, to be exact. But y’all… that price was price-ing, OKAY?! 😂 Right before I hit that “book now” button, I decided to check in with a close friend who used to work for Disney, hoping she might still have access to promo codes or employee discounts.
She hit me with the curveball: "Girl, I don’t work for Disney anymore... I work for Virgin Voyages now!" 👀
So I’m thinking, “Okay, let me see what they’ve got going on before we drop this Disney money.”
And THEN… she hit me with a 60% off discount code. SOLD.
Once we started reading about Virgin Voyages, we were floored. To be fair, they’re not even in the same category — it’s apples and oranges. But we loved how inclusive everything felt. We’re big fans of all-inclusive anything, and Virgin? They understood the assignment. The yacht-inspired vibe? 100% our speed. We’ve done a few yacht days in Miami, and honestly, that set the tone for how we really want to cruise going forward.
It felt like a win-win. So we took the plunge and made the booking.
Now here we are — six weeks out from our first Virgin Voyages cruise and y’all… we are OBSESSED. Like, I even became a certified travel advisor just to get access to agent rates for future trips. That’s how deep in we are. 😅
We’re patiently counting down the days and loving every second of documenting the process. We can’t wait to bring you along for this trip — and all the ones to come!
Oh! And how could I forget the MAIN reason we chose Virgin?

Once we realized we could cruise without a single child running around… I mean… could you imagine if we had gone on that Disney cruise!? Uhhhhh - no brainer. Now, don’t get us wrong — we’re not saying we’ll never cruise with Disney. We absolutely will… just not right now.
For this season of life, we’re choosing peace, fine dining, and poolside drinks over princess meet-and-greets — and honestly, it feels just right.
So now you know how we got here — and hopefully, you’re here to stay for the journey. 💛
